Outspoken Clothing is a small business comprised of Karin and Kristi, a lesbian couple, with a bit of help from our friends Christine, Paul, and Leorah. Karin and Kristi's five dogs and one cat provide inspiration and that always-essential fur to decorate the prototypes. We are based in San Diego, CA.
I'm having problems getting around the site or purchasing items. What do I do?
Please contact us immediately - we want to know if the website isn't working properly, and will fix the problem so you can have a successful shopping experience.
Where is the section of your site that has buttons and screenprinted tees? Due to current health and life circumstances, only our Cafepress section is up and running. Don't worry, we plan on bringing back the other stuff soon, and meanwhile, we've been adding tons of new designs on Cafepress to choose from! What types of payment do you accept? Our Cafepress section accepts credit cards only. Do you have a print catalog? No, we do not, but you can browse all of our products right here on the website. When will you have larger sizes?
We had planned to offer our screenprinted designs in XXL very soon, but due to logistical complications, it might be a while. However, our CafePress section now has shirts up to XXL that are sweatshop-free! The Cafepress Ash Grey shirts also go up to 4XL, but they are not sweatshop-free, sorry.
Sizes over XL will be slightly more expensive since they cost us more to buy, but we do not add extra markup.
I want a custom design, or I have an idea I'd like to suggest. Can you print one for me? Most likely yes, we can! Please send us an e-mail with your request and we'll see what we can do. I am an artist or graphic designer and would like to work with you. Would you be interested? Yes, we would! Please send us an e-mail and tell us about you and your work. Most likely, we would pay you a small fee up-front, and then a percentage of sales. Which clothing items on your site are sweatshop-free? The clothing in the CafePress section is not all sweatshop-free, although many items are. All items marked "Made in the USA" definitely are, and some others may be as well. Since Cafepress does the printing and shipping of those items for us, we have no control over what they stock - however we do regularly speak up and request more sweatshop-free merchandise. How are your products printed? The CafePress items are made using direct-to-fabric printing. The quality is excellent. What is your returns policy? We grant refunds or exchanges on merchandise returned within 30 days of receipt. Merchandise must be in unworn/unused condition. Do you wholesale? At this time we are not doing wholesale, sorry. I think that you are evil and going to hell for being gay, feminist, liberal, pagan, non-Republican, etc. and disrespecting our noble President!
You're entitled to that opinion, but don't bother e-mailing us about it. We don't care. Ya know, we don't call up Rush Limbaugh and call him a hypocritical asshole, or go to websites that sell right-wing apparel and send them hate mail. Frankly, we have better things to do, and there's no point in arguing with people who will never agree with us. Unlike many conservatives, we have no desire to force our beliefs on anyone else, unless they try to prevent us from having full civil rights and living safely in our communities. YOU chose to click on a link for liberal t-shirts and buttons, don't whine to us if you don't like what you see!
If you decide to ignore this warning and send us a non-constructive, hate-filled screed anyway, we reserve the right to post it here on the website for people to laugh at, complete with your full e-mail address as candy for spammers.
